Best Sandwich (in my humble stance)

x May

YUMMMMM!

YUMMMMM!

So this is it…the best sandwich in Copenhagen. It is big, it is tasty and it comes with student discount :D. The referred to sandwich is the pop number 9 from Smagsløget on Nørregade 38 in the middle of Copenhagen. It has roastbeef, manchego, chilli-pesto, a domicile-made salsa topped of with lettuce and red pepper (and normally raw onion iew). Divinity in a bun. Proceed reading

A selection of the jewelry you can discover at Norr from Blond Accessories

One of my favorite stores in Copenhagen is Norr. Located on a side street of the big shopping street Strøget this shop has everything a daughter wants. And about a 3rd of the store is allocated to men's clothing, but it's mainly for women. I actually like the relaxed atmosphere and the way the shop is ready up, with pocket-sized nooks  and around every corner y'all tin find something new. This store is a typical lifestyle store…you can become everything from some very pretty apparel to jewelry, bags, soap and accessories for the home, making it perfect not just for shopping for yourself just also for some serious souvenir shopping. Brands include: S'nob de Noblesse, Margit Brand, Suit, 5 Units, St. Martin, EOS, Decadent and Sneaky Play a trick on. Go on reading

Opera Main Phase

Main Stage Operaen

Chief Phase Operaen

And so this Dominicus one of my large dreams became reality when I had the chance to watch the New York City Ballet performing iii choreographies from George Balanchine. Plus it was my adventure to finally see the principal stage of Operaen (see this post for my concluding visit to the Opera house) and share this pic of the within with y'all as promised. It was amazing. We had seats on the third balcony and as you tin can see in the picture…that's crazy loftier! But the view was really skilful and the performance outstanding. Petty insiders tip from someone I know who sings at the Copenhagen Opera, always take seats at one of the balconies, especially when going to the Opera. Information technology has amend acoustics than the floor seats and they are cheaper; we could hear the dancer's bespeak shoes. Totally worth a visit when you are in Copenhagen!

The Opera House

The Opera House

Last Thursday I went to encounter an opera at the Copenhagen Opera house. E'er since I came to Copenhagen I've been wanting to go the opera. Not and so much considering of the fine art, though I very much relish it, but because I wanted to go to the building. I had seen it from the other side of the water and passed it while in the canal tour, but I had never been within. And to much of my displeasure, the opera I went to was on a different stage (Takkelloftet at the back of the edifice) than the normal big opera'south because it was the graduation prove from the Opera University in Copenhagen, so I withal have to become back to see something on the main stage. I took some great pictures of the foyer though that I wanted to share with you (there was no one there, because the show had already started). I hope pictures of the mainstage volition come… The performance that me and my friend saw consisted of ii divide opera's, The Bear and Satyricon. To my surprise they were in English and particularly the commencement one was actually pretty funny (mayhap not something you would expect from opera). Both of them were really adept and the Opera University has delivered some very talented new artists. Keep reading

Wine tasting at Det Lille Vinhus

15 Mar

This week I went to a tapas inspired vino tasting at Det Lille Vinhus, translated: the fiddling wine house. This shop was opened in 2010, past Lars Kroman, a homo who worked as a sommelier at some high end restaurants equally well as on the Royal Boat. After my boyfriend had been to ane of these tastings some time ago (and he was super enthusiastic) I knew I had to endeavour information technology as well, specially later a adept deal came upwardly. So along with my boyfriend and three of our friends, we headed down to the store.

The form and my glasses

The grade and my glasses

We were welcomed in the shop with a drinking glass of spumante and nosotros were allowed to wonder a little bit around the shop and explore the amazing drove of wines while waiting for everyone to arrive. Once everyone was there we were taken down into the basement to beginning our wine tasting. The basement had a warm atmosphere and there were tables with the glasses (5 in total per person. Ordinarily it's 4, only the sun had been shining so Lars gave an extra glass) all ready to become, every bit well as water, bread and a form. On the course it had a table with the names of the wines we were going to gustation as well as the possibility to write some notes. Continue reading
